The Importance of Foot Care

Aging feet need vigilant care.  Some reasons for providing nursing foot care include:

• People with diseases such as diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, stroke, and arthritis must be particularly careful about their feet.

• Often poor eyesight, frailty or other infirmities prevent people from providing proper care for their own feet.

• Nails that have become dry and thick are often more difficult to cut.
